ABOUT

THE CREATOR:
I (Matthew Motley) have been a deer hunter since my youth, gun hunting in Wisconsin and Minnesota and now exclusively a bow hunter on public land in MN. Early on I had others directing my hunts but often I had no idea what was going on, and was sitting, waiting, hoping for something to walk by. Situations changed and I started hunting public land, what a challenge that is! So many things that can and eventually will not go your way. With a wife and small kids I had to also be considerate to them and not be out too long, through many years of keeping track of hunts and leaning from various books, articles and YouTube videos and hunter interviews I've been able to reduce my time in stand year after year becoming a more effective hunter. The SeeMoreDeer app was built to increase hunt efficiency by encouraging activities (scouting, wind management, entry/exit routes, learning from past hunts) that lead to hunting success.

THE APP:
I tried a few hunting apps over the years and none of them gave me everything I needed in one place and left something to be desired. Adding pins was clunky, there was nowhere to log my hunts (I was using spreadsheets), some apps took forever to load. I created SeeMoreDeer.com to fit my hunt needs and I trust it can work for yours as well!
